Seeing Santa...

Last Saturday, 12/17, Chris was hunting again, so we decided our 'plan-of-attack' for the day was a visit to Santa Claus at the Winthrop library & 'attempt' to make cookies. I was DETERMINED to take a picture of the 4 of them without me in it :) and as you can see... I did manage to take the picture, and it was a complete repeat of the weekend before, poor Lydia... ;)

thinking about losing it....

yup... she lost it :)

thanks to Kris Wilgenbusch we have all of them looking remotely at the camera :)

The afternoon, making Dad's favorite Christmas cookies... peanut-butter-kiss.  I needed a bunch... some for the girls' treats at dance, some for employers in the community, some for people I work with at school... and mostly importantly (of course) some for Dad! ;)  I looked at the recipe and thought... "oh I'll triple it, well no, I'll quadruple it for easy measuring"... great idea Jaym. ;)  As I was measuring out 7 cups of white flour I thought... oh this probably was NOT a good idea! But as it turned out... it was a fabulous idea, b/c of 2 very good big/little helpers!!!  They did such a great job, our assembly line never slowed down - and with the help of both 'little' sisters taking incredible naps... we ended up with 133 cookies! :)

And they only required eating a few hershey kisses each to keep the train rolling! :)

Christmas kisses...such sweet sisters. I can only imagine what our kitchen will look like in 5 more years with 4 helper-elves!!!
