Lydia ... again :)

One might be asking what "Wiam" is laughing at ... so you look past her cute face at 8months...

and you see Lydia passed out on the floor next to her! Yes, you read right :) passed out cold. This was Monday, 11/01, the day after Halloween and to say the least... she was (obviously) exhausted!

And then a few days later, on 11/04, I found the car-harts we had for the older two. Lydia took a liking to them immediately, and accessorized herself w/the hat & boots to match :)

a favorite activity :) "WIGHTS! on/off, on/off" :)

Onto 11/06 - Lydia modeling her new jammies from Mimi & Pap! She loved the "petty" skirt of course.

"Warn"... Mom just hopes she'll take after Lauren some day! :)

As I stated on an earlier post, life with Lydia is VERY entertaining.. I can only imagine what the journey to age 3 will be like :)

Lydia

I don't have a picture for this one, but the kid continues to amaze us everyday! After having major melt-downs after coming home this evening (extremely tired & daylight savings is doing us no favors), she finally calmed down watching George. She was pretty excited about eating “dias!” (i.e. quesadillas) and did decide she likes oranges. J

At this point, LeaAnn was already upstairs w/Chris getting ready for bed. Lydia looked around and said, "where Wiam?” I told her Dad was putting her to bed. She looked right at me said, "O-done! Baf! Baf wif Wiam- off!" As she is shedding her clothes on the kitchen floor. :)

So naked Lydia proceeds to walk upstairs and I said, "Hey Lydia you forgot your dirty clothes, can you put them in the dirty clothes for me?" "OK!" she says. :) She marched upstairs, threw her clothes in the hamper, turned on the faucet and jumped in the tub. :)

The kid knows what she wants... life w/Lydia should be an interesting affair ;)

Halloween

Halloween was exhausting this year! Started on Thursday with carving pumpkins... Lauren still doesn't like the 'goop' that comes out of the pumpkin :)
the finished product was of course adorable... Chris always does such a nice job. Even attempted a peace sign for Lauren's nose :)
Then on Friday, I made a special trip into Lindsay's classroom and surprised her :) I was just in time for their parade through the elementary classrooms....  this is Lindsay (as Glenda the Good Witch) & Laynee Hogan (as a queen)

And it was extra special b/c Lindsay's parade went right through Lauren's classroom! So we got to say "hello" and of course take a picture.

Then on Saturday, the 29th (Chris' birthday) we had the Monti Hall Halloween party. This was the first time Lydia had her costume on ... and she loved it!  This was my attempt at catching her dance moves on camera :)  LOVE this leg left ;)
 a swift kick!

At the Monti Hall... the Wizard of Oz! Lauren as Dorothy, Lindsay as Glenda the Good Witch, and Lydia as the Wicked Witch :)

We decorated cupcakes... Grammy had an excellent idea to make owls this year :)

And then Wiam arrived! As Toto of course :)

With friend Frankie and cousin Sydney
She made a cute Toto if you ask me :)

Jill drove up w/all 4 kids... here are the twins (Miles & Sydney) at 10months
I do believe this pilot outfit has been worn by all 3 brothers now :)
Evan & Owen during story time

cousin posing after the parade (Lauren 6-1/2 & Evan 7)
She did pretty well waiting an hour and a half for a balloon :)  she was pretty proud of herself once she had one...

That night at Grammy & Papa Jim's... feeding 3 babies in a row :) pic was Jim's idea :)
Celebrating Evan's 7th :)

And THEN we get to Halloween on Monday! Lydia was a bawling mess before we left... but she quickly caught on to the whole idea of getting candy for free!

Why she lost her hat!

escaping again... a 3-ring circus at all times :)

out & about in Winthrop...

 Loved this picture :)

And we ran into Peck's & Moroney's

and last but not least... our annual trip to Dean & Lola Baragary's.  Lola went ALL out this year as a witch (obviously ;)  She even had on the perfect green finger nail polish and everything! As usual she spoiled the kids w/a ton of goodies...

LeaAnn wasn't scared at all! She hung out till the end like a trooper. All and all we had a great Halloween... aside from Lydia not sleeping that night (due to 6 suckers and no supper I assume?!? ;)  everyone was happy (& tired) with the way Halloween turned out.
