Here we are Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Morning of, headed to school...
had to :) Lydia in her 'cowgirl' outfit headed out the door on her way to Barb's
And that night, waiting on Dad to get home, frosting the cupcakes to take to Wolfey's! (like Hollywood's glasses ;) ??)
The plan was to have supper at Wolfey's after ball practice, BUT, ball practiced was cancelled (shocker) due to rain. SO, we headed in earlier around 6, and Grammy AND Papa beat us there!
I mean... can we get any cuter here? ;)
I am slightly bias of course :)
AH! Ok... well this one might beat it on cuteness ;)
All the Beyer's are so photogenic! King Dad you are and you don't even try :)
Proof! He was there :D (not that he would look at the camera or anything ;)
Proof! I was here too ;) ha!
Playing w/candles & matches... whatever it takes ;)
Super funny listening to her tell stories while counting...
Really giving 'Litia' the low-down
Playing hang-man & tic-tac-toe while waiting
So cute!
Even brought the cupcakes, I'll pat myself on the back for that ;)
Wow... not sure where 9-years went.
Oh... here's 'anoder' one! (as Litia would say :D) So cute!
Sorry Dad, I cut you out of it :)
LeaAnn being funny in the parking lot
What a cheese...
Lauren put the birthday crown on for me in the van... she refused to wear it into Wolfeys... oh where did the time go?!?
Look at that!!! Saturday, 4/23/2011... she was SIX...
Takes my breath away... I really can't even remember her being in 1st grade let alone, Kindergarten!
They loved the musical and went out for Scratch cupcakes afterwards! What a treat :)
Lunch of choice? Why Panera of course, where buttered ribbon-noodles is on the kids menu!
I was happy to oblige as I love Panera too! Hmm... do we look alike?
And then finally, we arrive at Claire's :)
She was so brave and did amazing!
Pure happiness, only one more to go!
ALL done!
She was giddy... so neat to see.
We shopped in Claire's for a long time as the store was 50% off after you have your ears pierced, and she just kept looking in the mirrors saying, "I can't believe they are pierced!" :D

Saturday, April 26th
As mentioned in the title... birthday celebrations :D Grammy took Lauren & friend, Elizabeth, to the musical, "Twelve Dancing Princesses" at the Children's Youth Pavilion in Waterloo. Here they are before they picked up Elizabeth.
They loved the musical and went out for Scratch cupcakes afterwards! What a treat :)
And THEN... last, but not least, on Thursday, May 1st, Lauren & I had a girl day! As a last hoo-rah for her birthday and to finish her present, which was to get her ears pierced!
But of course I had to have errands to run as well, which included a stop at the Honda shop... here she is being a trooper while waiting 1-1/2 hrs, drinking hot chocolate and teaching herself how to type :)

Lauren, you are an amazing, talented, kind-hearted, sweet, determined, giving and loving young lady. You are the girl I can count on to help all of your sisters out the door, get into the van, have snacks & water ready for them... and you are the girl when the dentist says, "you'll have to pull these 4 teeth out or I'll have to help you," has already yanked one of them out within the 15-minutes it takes us to get home from the dentist! You are the girl who sets goals and achieves them at school, who strives to be a great friend to your classmates and to all of your sisters. So here's to you... my sweet, oldest, baby girl... love you, so, so much, and Dad & I are so proud you. Happy 9th birthday!
