Christmas morning!! Shockingly enough, the little girls didn't wake up until 7:00am!! Chris and I woke up before they did and he said, "Can I just throw something down the hall to wake them up??" :)
Lydia got to go first on her Santa present after stockings :)
Meet Kaya!
then Linds with some new Uggs!
and LeaAnn...
with her new baby Alive - baby go bye-bye!
And last but not least, Lauren also got new Uggs! Awesome job Santa!! ❤
It occurred to me when looking at the Disney pictures that they rarely have individual pictures ;) good or bad, I don't know... so I made a point to take at least one ;)
Sweet Lindsay with her head-gear on!! :) I didn't realize she kept it on the whole time!!
The magnitude of boxes and paper is crazy!! Again... I can't WAIT to see what these pics look like next year ;)
OK... so here's the series of pictures...
Chris said I was a bad egg b/c I let them open this present up after the Santa presents :)
Pretty sure she knows... wait for it...
Y E S!!!! A phone :) her very own Iphone ;)
I think she was in shock, don't you?? ;)
And then finally Lindsay got hers open... she got a new Ipod touch :)
And for LeaAnn... Bob! I'm in LOVE with Bob!!
In love with this picture actually ❤❤
Sweet girl... wanted another nutcracker to go along with Nut-so... I LOVE this pretty little girl Nutcracker... the perfect addition to her to-be collection ;)
Yes, yes... this is another stuffed animal for LeaAnn... but seerriously!! Look how ADORABLE Judy Hops is... I. LOVE. HER. I could not put her down... she was meant to be in LeaAnn's arms... Lauren was actually the one that said, "Mom... this is not just any rabbit... this is Judy Hops!" And that was all it took ;) Great job Lauren!
So yes, Mimi... she has another... but look at that face! ❤❤
Yes, it's a Harry Potter illustrated book :)
and machoshins!!! :)
I spelled it like she pronounced it when she was doing research on an Indian tribe 😂❤
She was pretty happy ;)
So... we attempted to pick up and make it walk-able in our 'space' - everyone got dressed and the birthday girl came over!!
in LOVE with this Athleta outfit!!
I loved in on the computer, and loved it even more when it arrived... it looks JUST like Jeanette!
70-years young... that is how I would describe Jeanette ❤
Bloody's and shrimp... but I over 'spiced' it :( I think it was too much 'hot' pickle juice - but the shrimp was delicious!
And we played our new games!
And I mentioned on the Christmas Eve post, we actually had a 'dinner' this year... so it was perfect meal for the 70th birthday celebration ❤
And when we were all done, I said, "oh Jeanette, we should have had a cake for you!"
Lauren and Lindsay heard me and were all over it. They put the Lady Fingers we had brought home the night before on a plate, found candles, lit them and we sang happy birthday.
It was the sweetest thing ever.
Grammy didn't leave until 4:30 or so... we had a wonderful time. And after that we headed to Craig & Kris' for a few games and appetizers! The Peck's and Smith's were there and we played Catch Phrase... always a great time. :)
A wonderful way to end an amazingly special day. ❤

Christmas eve 2016
Saturday, 12/24/16
As I was going through these pictures I realized I wasn't sure I'd ever see a Christmas someplace different... and though nostalgic to think about... I simply can't WAIT to see next year's pictures!! :D
We had quite a bit of snow, and temperatures were warming up... making perfect conditions for snowmen! :D or snow-women ;) This was Jewel... complete with Hershey kiss eyes & buttons :)
Spent the morning making food for that night and for the next day. We decided to have an actual 'dinner' on Christmas... we never have before. It's just us, the kids were little, etc, etc. But I brought home a pork loin that Chris wanted to grill, Lauren requested Aunt Jody's pasta salad, Chris requested the spinach bake... and it turned into a meal!
Here the girls are that evening before heading to church...
Loved how their dressed turned out! I had anticipated LeaAnn matching Lydia... but I love this dress so much, I couldn't tell her no ;)
Make-up on all of them except Lydia ;)
So beautiful... breath-taking really.
We went to Jim & Jeanette's first with the food and Jeanette came with us to church :)
When we got back, the girls were all over following Santa on the tracker! Big screen and everything :)
We had lasagna, garlic bread and salad :) and Jeanette made "lady fingers" for dessert! It was a childhood favorite of Jim's... super yummy... kind of like a butter-finger/payday cross :)
Big fans!
And we played cribbage with Grammy :)
Super fun night... love our tradition of getting together... and as I mentioned earlier.. I can't WAIT to see next year's pictures when we live right next door! :D
