Riley's 7th birthday party

Sunday, 9/23/12

Happy 7th birthday Riley! Lego was the the theme this year... I should have gotten a pic of his lego city he had set up next to the cake, and I didn't! Super impressive.

Quite the crew :)

Everyone loved the cake..

And the airplanes (in her hand ;)

love the face expression ;)

Lindsay telling a story?  Imagine that ;)

Wiam especially loved the cake ;)

Ah-ha-ha-ha! Love LeaAnn's 'super-mini' skirt?!?

"cheese!"

I am a big-girl with a big-girl cup!

See... I do it just like Lydia :)

This is Lydia refusing to smile for me :)

Gotcha!

slurp!

Mom asked where Lydia was... and I have no idea!

a Lego hunt...

Collecting

it's 'B' :D

Papa & Owen passing the football

Capturing a few moments of Riley & Jody... I love this picture.

Love Evan's face :)

Riley in the action too :)

Oh I adore this one... sometime when you try to get a picture of kissing your kids' cheeks, the nose is squashed or the your lips aren't all the way on the person you're kissing... it just looks so awkward, you know? But this time it was perfect. :)  No awkwardness here... I love it.

LOVE... no other words for it :)

Mini-Brent is what one of Jody's friends said... and I couldn't agree more!

Wow... 7-years ... happy birthday Riley Robert! :D

EB Homecoming

Saturday, 9/22/12

Kris asked me to come up and take a few pictures of Markia's freshman homecoming :) The big girls and I were happy to oblige!  Lauren & Lindsay had no idea what we were doing, but they quickly decided they liked homecoming A LOT, and wanted to know if they would get to wear a pretty dress like Markia someday. :)

She looked beautiful!

Like those fancy blue shoes?!?

I was glad we went outside... though I wasn't super happy with how my camera was acting that day, I think they turned out OK. It was freezing out!
\
And I found it funny... the dress & picture taking quickly got boring :) and the kids opted to play :)

Super cute to see and I just wonder what homecoming will look like in 10 more years ;)

I think they had a lot of fun that night :)  Happy Homecoming everyone!

The parents :) I wondered if mom had any pics of her on my 'dance' nights???

I LOVE this picture :)

Swinging was way more fun...

September 21, 2012 & 2002 :)

Friday, 9/21/12

Our first EB Homecoming parade :) A little short... but we had fun none-the-less.

Too much candy for just these four! But they were ecstatic to have it all to themselves and not share w/their older siblings ;)

Lots of suckers all around :D

Oh... I probably should take the wrapper off :)

Sara & Levi

Me & my little girlies ;)
We went to the pep-assembly after the parade, and I was so impressed! It lasted over an hour... the entire school participated, all the teachers went out and danced, they had skits, featured all the sports teams & band... it was awesome. I feel very fortunate that my kids are growing up in such a community-oriented school district. It was really neat to see.

Also on this date... 10-years ago, Jill & Eric were married!! So I of course found some pics and scanned them in... so much fun to reminisce :)

They were married in a vineyard overlooking Mount Hood... it was amazing.

And Jill was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen....

To me she looked like she walked right out of a magazine :)

Eric looked pretty dashing himself :D  had a few less gray hairs back then ;)

Loved the gerber daisies...

Who knew?!?  This family of 8 would (10 years later) turn into a family of 21!

Just stunning... wish we could go back! :)  Congrats & happy anniversary Jill & Eric!!! Cheers to many more :D
