the third week in April

Figured I should get caught up quick-like since the fourth week of April is someone's birthday... week(!) :D She planned it out so her birthday supper is on her birthday, Tuesday, and her slumber party is on Friday... why not spread the love?

Here is Sunday, 4/14 after we got home from Randall. It was nice enough to be outside... shocking. It has rained, and rained, and rained. And when it's not raining, it's 25-degrees outside and it's snowing. Yup, you read right, snowing.  Ridic.  Anyhow... we're enjoying the outdoors :) we'll be happy.

LeaAnn not cooperating... what?!?  :D Notice her jacket and backpack... still glued on ... just part of her attire ;) That night Chris cooked the most AMAZING pork-loin on the Traeger. You could cut it with your fork it was so juicy & tender. He was so cute... said he's ready to have a party and treat everyone to what pork tenderloin should really taste like :)

4/16/13 - Chris does this to all the girls...even the older two! He wraps them up in a towel, holds them up with one arm and says, "I'll never let you down." Why, has this caught on? I have no idea :) but it's now a known thing as, "Daddy... do that 'never let me down thing'" :)  Here LeaAnn insists on looking at black mark on the bar that she thinks is a bug :)

Ms. Lydia 3-5mo

Thursday, 4/18... I'm not sure why... I think it was 50-degrees or something outside? You know... felt like spring... I think that's the word for this season? ;)
Anyhow, Lydia (at 3-5mo) has been obsessed with being a 'horsey'... she's not the cowgirl, she's the horse :) She woke up this particular morning and declared it was pants day (adorable b/c this doens't happen that often). She put on jeans and a t-shirt. I wanted to get my jean jacket out of the attic and I found this one up there too! I showed it to Lydia and she immediately put it on and then Lauren told her she should change her t-shirt to match the jacket... upstairs they marched :) She eventually put on her horsey-rainboots and said, "I'm a real cowgirl now!" This adorable jean jacket came from Mimi... in March of 2010.
And wouldn't you know...

I have pictures of that too! Lauren at 4-11mo

Lindsay too :) at 3-7mo

Couldn't resist this one.. this is Lydia when Mimi gave us the jacket ... at 4-months old! What a peanut!
