It was pretty nice out as you can see!! So the girls took full advantage of it after school!
And on Thursday, 3/24 we took off for Ohio! Stopped in Maquoketa for gas and snapped these cute pics to share...
It was a very rainy day, and predicted to be the whole way!! I adore this bracelet that Ashley gave me... it speaks to me on many levels <3
I had Lauren take pics to try and show how fun it was to drive in ;)
Stopped for lunch just in time when it started to down-pour again!
But!! We made it... in great time I believe... somehow?? :)
Anyhow... the next morning on Friday, we were going to do a bit of shopping and we all brought Iowa State clothes for the NCAA games going on... and I had wanted to re-create these pictures since LeaAnn's birthday!! So we did it with Mimi's help!! I thought we did a great job!!

Unbelievable... Lauren was 5-11mo, Lindsay 4-7mo, Lydia 16-months and LeaAnn a few weeks old!!

That doesn't happen all the time .... but in this case, these four are my best choices ever. <3

And one of the coolest things on this trip, aside from having a great time with Mom & Dad and it was very relaxing :) was the teepee that Elle & Pap built!
Mimi & Pap have been working very hard to clear out all the brush and trees from the creek... it's really awesome. Looks like it did when I was the girls' age!!
Isn't that the neatest thing???
They totally owned it all weekend... just as is should be :)
