Lauren's 2nd grade talent show

The day started off by prepping for camping! Here are the little two and I making scotch-a-roos... my ready-to-go-to-school Lydia :) insisted on counting the chips before she ate them.

And LeaAnn well... she just ate them :)

I know I have a picture of the older two doing this EXACT same thing :)

I laid them down for early naps and then we all went to Lauren's 2nd grade talent show!They did great for the most part :) Grammy was behind us so between crawling from me to her... and watching occasionally, we managed :)

Lauren's 2nd grade talent show was really amazing. All the kids did so well and they were all so brave to stand up and show off their talents! Everything from joke telling, cup stacking, bike riding, football throwing, painting... really impressive.  Lauren shocked me that she wanted to sing, and not just sing, but sing, Firework by Katy Perry! She practiced and was confident that she could do it, and she did :D she did an amazing job. I think I will look into voice lessons if she would like next fall? Averiel Brady danced with a ribbon while she sang.

Everyone had to introduce themselves on the microphone and say what they were doing.

Yeah Lauren! Super proud of you and great job :D

How funny is this kid?!? She does this all the time. She hears music and she starts wiggling around :) Love it!
