Quasky t-ball 2013

Kindergarten through 2nd grade play t-ball in the 'Quasky' league and on the 'Winthrop' league the girls learn on a pitching machine starting in Kindergarten... and with Winthrop you have tournaments every weekend and in Quasky you have one tournament at the end of the season. And mind you (for the Ohio folks ;) these small towns are 5-miles apart? And part of the same school district... sheesh! So I'm not sure what the best option is, but we started with Quasky and we're going to stay here. The girls like it and so do we... even though at some point, we'll be at the ball diamond from 5-10pm every Monday and Wednesday for about 6-weeks :) the girls will LOVE it I'm sure as they begged every game to stay 'longer... please, please, please!' 

However, as kids do.. they like to compare themselves and declare who/what is better... and being on the 'tball' side of things is not-cool to these 'going-to-be-3rd-graders' ;)  But! Coggon, Walker, Rowley, Brandon & Troy Mills all do the same thing... and I agree with the theory, so we're good to go ;)

Anyhow, here we are at the Walker game the Monday after our really big 'switcheroo' weekend. Can you say, exhausted?

Monday, 6/5/13 - the little girls love tball too :) just not all the sitting it involves ... so they improvise :D

Finally got my act together and brought my big camera to a game :) Lauren playing 2nd base.

The girls really came a long way this year... it was really cool to see. They won their first tournament game which was their first one all year :D Quasky allows everyone, Kindergarten through 2nd, to play in the games and some teams opt for just 2nd graders. The girls are less afraid of the ball, make good throws, get in front of grounders... they did an amazing job :) Looking forward to next ball season!
