Pretty sure this is the last day of school, Friday, May 30th b/c the girls on in their clothes that they wore that day ;) Forgot I had this ...
I got a little ahead of myself! Before VBS we camped the first weekend in June leading into that week and we had so. much. fun! It was a perfect day to spend at the beach, and that's exactly what we did. We camped on Thursday and this is Friday, June 6th.
They found these cute turtles! We kept them for a day and it was really fun...
Lindsay kept tempting the poor thing with her finger!
All the kids were in heaven... it was just the perfect day.
We ate lunch down there and had snacks...
I bet they all carried 30-buckets of sand! Castles and moats... they just kept digging.
Laynee is standing in front of the trout stream and she caught this one bare-handed! I think there was something wrong with it, but still :) was a pretty cool accomplishment!
The boys were filthy and came to gave their mom's hugs ;) I don't have a boy, ha!
And then... leave it to Iowa... this is the next day, Saturday, June 7th. Sweatshirts & rain...
I kept this in there b/c Sara is 38-weeks pregnant... you can tell, right?
Sunday it was nice again and on this particular Sunday, there was McElroy's fishing derby and the camper/house to clean b/c Mimi & Pap were coming!
LeaAnn had a little help from Craigy and earned herself a trophy!
I think Craig has some more pics that I will have to get from him. Chris did a great job as he took all the girls by himself so I could work at home...and as always, the kids had a great time.
