Lydia's 3rd birthday

Lydia's 3rd birthday FINALLY arrived! And it was unbelievable GORGEOUS... not a stitch of wind and sunny... I kept walking outside thinking, 'this is Iowa?!?' So we took full advantage and played outside... I did not get my camera out fast enough to take pics of them jumping on the trampoline, but here they are riding on the jeep, per Lydia's request :)

They were both really tired... hence the 'serious' faces I kept getting ;)

She REALLY perked up when we told her we had another present for her after lunch... in the morning she recieved a Tangled birthday card that played music & a princess book from her sisters.

So cute opening all by herself... another 'Lydia' thing... L1&2 definitely would have asked for help... or maybe we would have just gave the help to them?

This was the best I got :) then Lydia said, "now mom? Now can we go to Grammy's and to my party?" Of course we can... she was so patient :)
