Christmas Eve! How is it possible... the picture before church.. not bad ;)
Lydia 4-1mo, Lindsay 7-4mo, Lauren 8-8mo & LeaAnn 3-10mo
Look at this! You can even see her dimples :D
And so... we went to church, which was packed! And a great service... and I say, "we need to get a family photo" but you see the result. We never did get one. Ever. :( That makes me sad b/c it's gone and we'll never get it back.
BUT! Grammy came to service and to our house for dinner. Grandpa was on-call. This was after dinner of course ;) notice LeaAnn's attire???
When we got to church, Kris said, "LeaAnn! I love your dress it's so pretty."
LeaAnn put her hand in the air and said, "my sim-suit, in da washer!"
LeaAnn was a stylist tonight :)
new game of choice, chase the ace!
funny girls :)
Here is the spread for Santa & his reindeer :)
The letter that Lauren wrote :) the part about the ice is b/c Jimmy & Andrea came over for supper and Andrea fell on the ice right outside our door :(

Card made for Dad from Lindsay...
Lydia got up to got to the bathroom, 6:20. Chris comes in and says, "are you going to make them wait 10-minutes?"
I did not do a great job taking pics or filming anything... I really just wanted to sit with them and watch as they opened... It was great. I might try still cam-cording next year, just to capture their squeals and excitement :) but I would not have changed a thing.
Lydia with her cat-like reflexes pounced on her present as soon as they were done with stockings :) but I did manage to keep them going one at a time... though tough, they did it :)
It was the year of "Monkey-baby!" A fur-real monkey delivered by Santa :)
new raincoats...
but this is how she was most happy :) stripped out of her jammies, down to her new sim-suit and playing with monkey-baby!
Look how old she looks!
New this year, we 'paused'... they were all happily playing with stuff, Chris was assembling the new doll beds, and we took a time-out. It was great :)
the only time I did turn on the camcorder... Chris was playing the new Wii game, "Wipeout!" It was really funny :)
doctoring everyone with Doc McStuffin's kit :)
this perfect day ended with sledding up to Wilgenbusch's and sharing a pork loin that Chris cooked :)
perfect ending to a perfect Christmas!

just Beautiful-your girls. You brought tears to my eyes as I read about your Christmas morning-memories I guess…
ReplyDeleteThey rode those sleds ALL the way to Wilgenbusches?!
and Grammy Jeannette needs to share these pics of her and the girls-she looks Fabulous!
DeleteAgreed - Jeannette looks amazing!! I've always loved her hair! LeaAnn will make a fabulous stylist someday! ;)
ReplyDeleteDid your elf bring those pajamas? They are really cute!!! And Lauren & Lindsay's black tights - are they really sparkly, or is that just the photo? Either way, your 4 looked waaaaay too grown up in that photo! Little beauties you've got there!
yes Leia, Joy Jingle, our elf brought the pajamas :) and Lauren & Lindsay's tights came from Old Navy actually, so not actual sequence, it was just threaded into the tights... they definitely were made for the dresses! :D
