Communications Day for 4H! No idea what to expect, or really what to do... but we saw it in the monthly flier and thought we'd give it a shot :)
This is Lindsay before her Clothing Selection... you pick out an outfit that was purchased within the year and explain to the judge why you picked it out!
Here is Lauren's clothing selection...
Lauren before her educational presentation of Laura Ingalls Wilder... the judge loved her outfit, Grammy was sitting right there to hear that compliment! (dress made by Grammy, fabric picked out by Lauren)
Such a great job Lauren, you need to do this next year and grab a chance to go to the state fair! Then your dad will have no excuse as to why he can't go ;)))

I had 45-minutes before awards would start and I went and got the little girls from Barb's
Awards
So cute, this was the start of our friendship with Avery Hanaway and her mom, Audrey! Her mom offered up their goats to let Lindsay, Lydia & LeaAnn show at the Jr Fun day during fair... and it turned out so perfect! Super sweet family :)
Such a learning experience this first year knowing nothing... So proud of both girls, they did a wonderful job and hope they will do it again next year!
