Memorial Day weekend 2015

Friday, 5/22/15

Memorial Day weekend seemed early this year! And we were done with school... really weird feeling. The little girls and I tried to get ready for camping while the girls had their last day of school and on the to-do list before we left, was plant the garden! I just knew that it was going to take longer and be a bigger job than one thinks (always is) so I asked Lola if she wanted to come over, and she was there in 10-minutes! I'm so glad she did! (would not have happened otherwise ;)

It was hard to plant b/c this patch wasn't here last year! First time we've had a garden since... I'm pretty sure it was 2009?  I don't think we had one the summer of 2010 when I was pregnant with LeaAnn. Anyhow, it's been a while :) (Just looked, and yes, last time was 2009 and during Lindsay's 3rd birthday party, it looked scary :)

My photographer, Lindsay, was documenting the progress :)

Both Lauren & Lindsay had just started practicing and taking pics for a fair project :)

Then fast forward to the campground! The cape (homemade from Grammy a few years ago) stayed on all. weekend. Ridiculously adorable :)

Aren't these pretty bloody mary's I made everyone??

We went home on Sunday morning, showered and got ready for Chance Cook's graduation party, and then we headed back... in the rain of course :) Does she not look my twin or what?!?

I love it when they let me blow dry and flat iron their hair :)

sweeties...

And then that day after the rain, we finally got a croquet game going!

I mean... can you get any cuter?? :)

Oh yup, she did right here ;)

Ahhh! The outfits... completely assembled by themselves - ha! :D

First timers (for croquet) Bo & Elisa playing :) I think Chris was trying to coach him

2 of the best!

We had started playing Rumicube in the camper when it was raining, cool picture that I think Lindsay took?

And here were the girls taking it over ;) Great weekend & kick-off to summer despite the weather!!
