To start the day off, we counted up
Lauren's piggy bank savings and she had enough for... her Ipod Touch!
Let's just say she was ecstatic! And after a stressful week, a much
needed distraction :)
Spent
oh... around 3-hours trying to get it all set up? Deciding on email or no
email, passwords, etc... but we did it :) Despite the house being a disaster, we loaded
up and headed to Bloomsbury Farms! Such a treat for the kids... we have NEVER
taken them there... we've always gone to Sherman's pumpkin patch in Manchester,
and what a treat it was! (Click here for their website Bloomsbury Farm)
Love, love, love!
There are a million pictures (well... you know what I mean).. but it was such a perfect day, I couldn't help myself.
I truly had wanted to 'dress up' everyone... color coordinate, blah, blah, blah. But when it comes down to it... it really doesn't matter. The smiles and expressions I captured, are picture proof enough that we had a fabulous time.
The bounce pillow...
Check out how tall they are :)
We wandered around and found this amazing invention :)
LeaAnn..not a fan ;)
Shoots a pumpkin miles and miles!
REALLY not a fan after it went off once :) sounds like a giant cannon.
Looks like it too!
Here's our four monsters :)
still worried about the pumpkin shooter :)
we missed the pig races!
awesome slide! couldn't help myself ;)
Neither could LeaAnn...
b/c she did it over and over....
and over again!
Dad walking Lauren to the 'haunted barn'
Unfortunately they had a personal 'guide' :) I think the girl was just trying to be nice...
We had corn in everywhere!
they survived :)
How cool are these tires?!
LeaAnn is still going :)
Lindsay really wanted to play tic-tac-toe :)
Took a wagon ride.. I was sweating by the end of it!
The far structure is their zip-line ($20 for a ride... so we passed), but up front can you see the goats walking???
This is probably my favorite series of pictures... the bins look so cool in the background.
And we headed back to the slide again where they decided belly sliding was the best!
And here is where I set down the camera, and went for video :)
SO stinking cute... really have to listen at the beginning.
We wandered again and found some duck races :)
LeaAnn had to potty... I LOVE these three shots... notice her hands up in the air?
Look-it Dad!
LeaAnn is 2-1/2 here, almost the exact same age as Lauren...
here :) (at Lacy & Kelly's wedding, July 2007)
On to feed the goats... Chris was of course inquisitive ;)
LeaAnn tried to pretend that she was upset the animals ate her shoes (and fingers ;) but she loved it.
Look at this cute pot-belly pig!
loved the sign
Convinced Lindsay to try the haunted house ;)
Lauren to console... see how it went ;)
Such a great time, and to end our wonderful day, we ended up at the Peck's house where we were served an amazing grilled steak & pork chop meal! Can't thank them enough for a perfect ending to a really great day.
