just some randoms...
8/17/13 - This particular weekend, we were down 50% of our kids (thanks Mimi & Pap!) and we had attempted to go camping, but did not get there in time on Thursday night to secure a spot... just a nice little road trip with our enormously long camper ;) So! We were without plans on a Saturday night, and as I was on my way to the grocery store that Saturday I saw a pulling tractor on a trailer with a camper following it. I immediately called Chris and said, "where is the tractor pull tonight!?" Found out it was in Earlville, not too far away, found a sitter and we were off. :D
As usual, an amazing experience in Iowa... a full-blown, nicely-run tractor pull in the middle of a corn field... literally nothing else around us except a campground. Paid $20 to get in, drove up, backed in, pulled our chairs out, set the cooler b/t us, and we had a date! Gorgeous evening... made me very nostalgic and wishing I could have shared the experience with all the tractor pull loving people I grew up with :)
On a side note, really wish I would have had my big camera... very cool lighting.. would have been some neat pictures.
The Peck/Moroney birthday bash! On Saturday, September 13th... a new face painter who did an amazing job :)
A pink tiger for Lauren...
a purple butterly for Lindsay
Who knows for LeaAnn ;) I really didn't think she'd sit for it, but she did!
Love this face ;)
she looks so old here...
Another butterfly for Lydia
Aren't they cute together??
Stole Maggie's picture... trying for a group shot!
9/12/12 - a day at the park in Coggon with the little two, lovin' the alligator :)
mid august at Maggie's again... impromptu supper with Maria & Tate! Like LeaAnn's outfit? She picked it out ALL by herself ;)
Oh so cute of the four of them!
Labor day weekend camping... stole from Maggie's blog... how could I NOT?!? Future pics for graduation day? Or who knows... their wedding?!?
Lindsay wore her outfit sewn by Grammy to school and got tons of compliments on it :) Her American Girl doll has the SAME one! Grammy bought a book of patterns for matching doll & girls clothes... so she's all set for Lydia, LeaAnn, Emma & Syd ;)
And I took the little two with me to the grocery store and they did amazing... and stole the show of course ;)
8/7/13 - Barb got her pony out for the kids to ride :) Needless to say they were over the moon excited... helped the whole asking dad for a horse along ;) even though we still haven't made much progress on that. So glad she took pictures!

LOVE!
ReplyDeleteJayme you should buy a horse and a pony! :) How much would all the kids have!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could sew.... My girls love to match their dolls!! Love their painted faces! We tried awhile back & the girls did really good, but Brody only last about 30 seconds ;)
