Our fun-filled weekend...

Started with Friday night football for the homecoming game... and then on Saturday, 10/12, we headed to Story City for a visit with the Larson's!  Left Dad at home to give him some much needed 'alone time' ;)

Of course ran out of the house without my camera :( and really would not have even had a chance to take pictures, but after we arrived at this awesome fun-fair for the kids at the Gilbert School district.... I was forced into grabbing my broken phone and giving it a try. They were too cute not too!

I should have video-taped this kid totally getting into the action... watching Lydia, completely copying her, not being shy.. and as a result, getting lots of free things. "Why?" Lauren & Lindsay each asked, why did their little sisters get so many free things...

"Well, b/c they are so cute together you see..." :) They didn't see or get it at all... I reassured them that they used to get the exact same reaction from people when they were 2 and 3! Exactly who can resist this face?!

Blake loving the face-paint.. they all did, except for Lydia ;)

Lindsay was a star

Won these super cute suckers as a result of an egg/spoon race... will definitely have to keep that game in my back-pocket... the kids loved it!

Ms. Lydia & LeaAnn even took a turn at it..

Riley with his pumpkin face-paint

Look who scored a sucker!

Me too!

What a ham...

Came home to an absolutely GORGEOUS Sunday... oh if we could only hit repeat, repeat, repeat on the weather! Everyone laid down for quick naps before we headed out to the Cook family's fall-festival. I 'made' the girls put on solid colored shirts b/c I wanted to try and get a decent picture of them together. Wished I'd had the 'perfect' fall combos... but I did not :( maybe next year...

Wow is all I can say... Lauren 8-1/2, Lindsay 7-2mo, Lydia 3-11mo & LeaAnn 2-9mo

Here was the rest of them. I love this one ... a lot. :) Reflects the personalities I see the most everyday :)

This one REALLY shows off what they look like everyday ;) Dad begging the girls to cooperate ;)

Thanks for the help Linds! ;)

And then we were off to the festival. This was the first year (this was the 8th annual?) that the weather has been so perfect, you didn't even need a coat! No wind, no snow, no rain... just gorgeous weather :)

Hay-rack ride...

Craig & the boys caught a bunch of fish, and kept a few out for everyone to 'play' with :)

And LeaAnn & Lydia of course took right to the action ;)

How hysterical?!?

They were his longest-lasting fans :)

The paddle-boat was a huge hit this year...

and the canoe...

LeaAnn still enthralled with Craigy and his fish :)

Oops! Dropped him :)

And so she went back in to try and get him again :) She said, "can't reach down der!"

Pumpkin painting..

LeaAnn insisting on a boat ride :) She was convincing Aaron Cook and he was listening to her!

So.... she got in ;)

And Lydia & King Dad took a spin on the canoe

Then of course LeaAnn was mad and wanted King Dad... so what did he do? He rescued her, and didn't tip over! :D

A wonderful ending to an absolutely fabulous day :)
