I was so excited to wake up on day #2 I almost couldn't sleep! (well... almost ;) I set my alarm for 7:00am in hopes we would find the most perfect skiing water.... and we were not disappointed! I think Sean was a little surprised, but quickly understood why we would get going so early. Sean also loved it b/c driving on glass-like water is a novelty & fun to do too!
Maggie was up first...
and she did great! Just like riding a bike, right Mags? ;) This was the first time she'd been up on skis since high school!
Then Lacy... oh yes, and our fear-less driver Ryan! And thanks to Lacy we had skis to ski with! She raided her parents boat before we left w/skis, ski ropes & life jackets - thank you Lacy! :D
Always love the face expressions when you're 'concentrating' - NOT!
I remember thinking I lost my contact ... luckily, I did not!
Back at the boat... a new game was being invented... 'sitting bags' :) very creative title, don't you think?
And the floating began!!
Captains were born ;)
And arm-wrestling matches happened... of course they did, right?!?
What would a houseboat trip be w/o one ;) It's like the brother Chris never had :D
They were actually evenly matched...
and no one ever actually 'won' - they just decided they needed a 'professional' wrestling table where their elbows are held down next time.
We will get right on that! ;)
They switched hands ... you know, just to 'make sure' they were really even.
Can you hear the song? ;)
Then as usual, I want to keep all of these for the precious face expressions.
This is one of my favorites.
This one too...
OK... enough with the boy pictures ;)
We had such a great crew! :D Sad we only got one pic of all of us the next day... should have busted out the timer button on the camera!
only he caught on and then 'pretended' the whole time :)
Like my glasses? :( Had to wear them b/c I developed an eye infection just a couple days before we left!
And for dinner this night we had steak sandwiches, pineapple & garlic shrimp!! It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!
Delicious...and so worth the wait! :D
