The little girls and I had fun playing this particular afternoon, and I realized that I have not been doing a good job at snapping random pictures... which I need to do more often. For instance, Ms. Wiam has the cutest head bob for yes & no... it's adorable and must be captured! She still doesn't have many clear words... but what she wants is pretty easy to tell. She'll either bob up & down or side-to-side :D
Here she is putting blocks in the holder... she still amazes me at her fine-motor-skill ability. I don't remember the other girls being this way... this was something cousin Riley did at this age I'm pretty sure! I remember b/c I thought... no-way did Lauren or Lindsay ever do that.
She looks like one of them here.. just not sure who :)
And Ms. Lydia...not to be outdone on the fine-motor skills :) Successfully building a tall, tall tower! "Mommy! Da witch wives in dere!" she whispers to me :D (It's a Dora thing)
Ms. Lydia seems to be sort-of settling out of her 'phase'... or that's what I want to call it so that it will eventually go away :) She's been pretty darn intense lately... just wanting to make a statement, make choices for herself and be a big girl like Waren & Dinsy. :) Like wearing a dress everyday for instance... this outfit she has on in these pictures... was NOT an easy task to get her to wear. It entailed crying in her bed, taking off the pants, walking downstairs with a skirt on... sigh. Me sending her back upstairs in tears... and her finally deciding she was going to do what I asked. Which was wear pants for one day!!! But I must remind myself... Lindsay was the EXACT same way.... which is really hard to believe now.
But this girl can be the sweetest thing... and give the tightest & best hugs ever. I have no idea where she gets her intensity from ;) she's not a Scorpio like her mother or anything :D
Come on Wiam... smile for me!
