Tuesday, 7/29/14
On this particular Tuesday, Lauren had a birthday party and Maria invited us up to her cabin for an over-night. I finagled all necessary accommodations for the littles and Lindsay and I had an awesome 1:1 day/night! We rode up w/Maggie & Kreighton and took off for the river right around 12:30. Waiting to be dropped in :)
Tubing in style!
I don't ever remember getting to 'sit' while on a tube... I was always holding on for dear life! ;)
But they all loved it...
We sat on a beach for a little while and tried to play some volleyball, but the girls just really wanted to go boating :) So we pulled into this cove of sorts and the kids could jump off the boat and swim around...
the life :)
That night after supper and it was dark enough Maria & Troy pulled out four lanterns to let off...
REALLY cool...
I had never seen them in person... just from Tangled of course ;)
They were really big too as you can see!
We let the first one go by itself, and then decided it would be really neat to see the last three go all at once...
How cool is that?! Left the next morning at 7:45, quick trip but so worth it. Thanks for the fun time Maria & Troy!
