September 2014 fun

And somehow September slipped by as well! It was a gorgeous month for the most part and jammed packed!

We had beautiful blue skies...

Should have also taken a picture of the cows & calves that got out numerous times over the course of the month :) We have 3 cows and now 2 heifer calves b/c one was struck by lightning :( But the big girls were experts at getting them back in :)

Monday, 9/15/14
I took the girls to school for some reason... always happy to do so, but I usually don't get the opportunity on a Monday! I thought her outfit was adorable and completely picked out by her :)

We tried on the hair... I usually don't get too much done in that department anymore :/

Cuties...they are all loving school and I feel so blessed that's the case!

Independence Homecoming week and we had 'Twin Day'! :) Mrs. Shaffer & Mrs. Sheets :)

And Tracy & I joined in! :) I have been called Tracy & Mrs. Curtis since I have moved to Iowa 13 years ago... so this was really fun for me and really funny to see kids & teachers faces when we walked down the hall!

We both have 4 kids, both married a Chris, and they are both tall, blond & have buzzed hair cuts! I said we should enter in a costume contest for Halloween :)

Our IT department :D Wade, Trish & Charles

And then on Saturday, September 20 Chris decided that this was the day to take the 2 dead trees down in our yard. Exciting times!

The entire Wilgenbusch clan came down to help and watch the excitement :) My caption here was #safetyfirst ;))

We had to end our tree fun a bit early to get dressed up for Brad & Shannon's couple shower at Fred & Maggie's.. how adorable are these two?!?

LeaAnn 3-6mo & Lydia 4-10mo

It reminded me a lot of this one :) Lauren 4-7mo & Lindsay 3-3mo

and here they are 5 years later!!!

It was a gorgeous evening :)

Check out the new shed at the Peck's!

funny game :)

Brad & Shannon did really well!

the happy to-be-newly-weds :)

It was almost a mini-reception... the kids just danced away..

Like LeaAnn 'getting down'??? :)

The big boys :)

Important lessons in life don't 'ya know :)

So cute!!!

the little boys :)

LeaAnn and I stopped in McElroys that Monday the 22nd and I don't know why, but she looked so adorable with her IA State shirt, pink boots & jeans (outfit design by LeaAnn herself ;)

I just had too b/c the shirt & boots came from Aunt Kris! So we sent it to her :)

And this was on Tuesday the 30th, right before Mimi headed back to Ohio :( She came out to watch the kiddos while Chris & I drove to Omaha for a rodeo with New Balance Commodities...

And I'm guessing she doesn't like this picture but I love it :) and want more of them. Love you Mom!
