The Monti Halloween party was our first celebration of the season! Last year it was on Sunday from 11am-1pm... and though a little daunting to have on a Sunday, I really appreciate the later time! This year, back on a Saturday, we all were up at 6:15am starting to get ready. If Lola would not have come over to get Lauren ready, I don't know what I would have done!
Included finger nail painting...
and a fake wig to spray-paint! Genius Lola! Honestly, I hadn't thought of any of this! But leave it to the witch herself to know exactly how to make yourself look like a real witch!
Thank you, thank you!! Lauren's favorite was the black tooth! She's going to put it on for school too she loved it so much ;)
Queen Elsa :)
I don't know why, I just liked this 'look'
and Tinkerbell!
A cold Queen Elsa I might add ;)
But by this time, LeaAnn was having none of it ;) LOVE it...
"I don't want my picture taken!"
But it's come A LONG WAY from this kind of "I don't want my picture taken!" What a circus... nothing short of it. 6-1/2, 5, 2 & 6-months... holy cow.
Back to the present :)
We even made it to Monti by 8:35am! I was so impressed... never before. Just a testament to the girls getting older... it's pretty amazing.
We had a great time at the party... finally figured out how to make the sound system work so we had music the whole time which was a nice touch :)
Rylee & Whitney
Face painting by our high school helpers...
Babies CJ & Jenna made an appearance as well!
Maggie and her cowboy :)
I can't remember what Kael was, but he looked pretty cute!
LeaAnn & Ethan
Averiel & Lauren
Who is this behind the mask??
why our beautiful Tinkerbell :)
sweet-treat decorating
Frankie as a box-troll :) can't wait to see the movie!
Thanks for coming Lola!
festive affair... you can see them playing 'pin the nose on the pumpkin'
Had to put me in one of them!
Look at this muchkin 3-years ago!!
Addie and I'll have to ask the girls... :) can't remember right now.
Mr. Owen
Jack w/his cool mask
The real baby-CJ with Aunt Kris :)
2011 - Lauren & Frankie are 6-1/2 here and Lindsay is 5... almost the same age as Lydia right now...
King Dad did make an appearance...
thrilled about it, no? ;)
Pumpkin-ring toss... can you see the crocheted baby mermaid outfit?!? Ms. Raegan pulling it off like a natural :D
The group... Why in the world we've never done this before I don't know, but glad we did it this year :)
Overall we had a great turn-out, more people last year on a Sunday... maybe we'll have to go back to that.
Per Kelly's request, Olaf w/all his Queen Elsa's! :D
Maggie did a great job with the parachute activity
Kids loved it... hard to keep the little ones focused on directions, but still they have a great time w/it.
The girls also deemed this Saturday as pumpkin-carving day :)
And they turned out really well!
Doesn't Lindsay's pumpkin look like Lindsay??
LeaAnn insisted on a little one :)
Lydia's had the eyelashes, and Lauren's was the tall one
The night ended with a game of "get dad" ;) Should have started taping sooner...
The costumes continued on into dance on Monday night... :)
