A day to school shop must be planned :) I had a hair cut first, and then we headed to Target! Ms. LeaAnn walked out with the most adorable new backpack :) Somehow, she comes out with more than she should... she just knows how to work it! Tries on her own clothes, asks for no help, puts together her own outfits... she's a pro ;)
And our caterpillar project! SUCCESS this year! :D We had 3... and their names are failing me right now, will get back to you on that :) I found one, and Lauren found 2, including this teeny one on the bottom!
They are the most amazing things...
And then we made a trip to Iowa City on Sunday, August 9th! We went to the cute local brewery/restaurant in Solon, Big Grove Brewery... it was awesome! We all loved the food and adults liked the drinks :) actually Lauren & Evan really like the root beer too.
Always amazing to me... 3 adults and 8 kids... where did they all come from?!? :)
On Monday, we thought we were just going swimming, but it was raining... so we started with the Children's museum, which Lydia & LeaAnn have never been too (doh! Completely neglected, those younger two... ;)
They loved it of course :)
When we came outside, it was gorgeous out... and Jill convinced me to stay another night (I mean... I don't know whose sister she is.. couldn't be Jody's or anything - ha!) and so we took the swimming too! Lucky children :) (I'm just trying to make up for the little two being neglected and never taken anywhere - ahahaha!)
And then of course we had to stop at the Cedar Rapids mall on the way home Tuesday for more school shopping :) And yes, Lindsay scored the purse for her birthday from Aunt Ashley! :D
