Hmmm... I think this MIGHT have been Sunday night... miniature golfing was a hit!
What we did do on Monday morning was head to the Omaha Zoo!
Under construction, but still completely worth it!
Hard to keep a group of 18 together... but we managed :)
Lindsay grabbed my camera and took almost all of these animal shots! She did a fabulous job :D
I did not know that the gorillas were the 'thing' to see at this zoo, or that there had been so many incidents involving them? But they are absolutely fascinating... and amazing, beautiful..
You just wanted to hug one...I felt like they would hug you right back.
I guess this type of interaction is normal?? But it was amazing to me...

Sprinkler play.. and I specifically remember Lauren & Lindsay playing in a sprinkler at the Cincinnati zoo (which I would love to go back too) when they were younger than this!
June 2006 in the same place! It's really bugging me that I can't find the family picture I have of Chris, Lauren & I, so this will have to do :)

That night we drove back, and headed straight to the paddle boats!
This is Tuesday morning before heading out... LeaAnn was already packed of course ;)
Had a great time and wish we could go back next year, but it was already booked when we tried to get it! Until next time Mahoney State park...
