One of my favorite memories of summer growing up, besides the fair :) was going to over-night camps. Church, 4H and even horse camps... loved them all. So I was super excited when I figured out Lauren & Lindsay could go to an over-night church camp! It was just one-night, less than 24-hours, but they jammed packed it full of activities. So much so, that neither one of them wanted to go home when we arrived to pick them up :D Good sign I think!

Lydia of course wanted to 'camp' as well, and insisted on sleeping with her Dora sleeping bag that night too :) The camp is called Pictured Rocks located just outside of Monticello and it's a Methodist run camp.

And here they are with the only other girl camper! They told us they kept these one-night camps small for the reason it's a learning experience and usually the first time kids have this kind of an experience. Very excited (and the girls are too) for next year when they will get to spend 2-nights and 3-days!
