Our final days in Ohio...

Friday, 6/29/12

Boating w/Tara & Sara! How lucky am I to have friends w/boats?!? ;)  We drove to Brookeville, IN & though short lived due to a storm, we still had an awesome time on the water. Even got to ski :D

We were caught on the lake during the storm but thankfully, made it out safely. Not so much for many, many trees & power lines! When we arrived at Mimi & Pap's this is what we saw.  Chris & Pap spent the next 2 days cutting up this one and another up front. Not sure if you can see or not, but the logs laid out on the ground in a square... those were laid out by the cousins. It was their very own play-house prior to the tree falling on it :)

Saturday, 6/30/12

The next day, Donnie & Ashley treated Lauren & Lindsay to another day at Kings Island!  They were ecstatic of course :) Even though hot, they had a fabulous time. Lindsay braved Top Gun & they got to ride all their favorites again.

They arrived home around 2pm and we all headed down to Ruby's to swim one more time. Then ended the day/visit with pizza on the patio.

It was such a wonderful & relaxing visit to Ohio! I can not thank my mom & dad enough for all the love, care, food & entertainment they gave myself & the girls.  Truly a super special visit.

The next morning, Sunday, 7/1/12, we left around 7:30am Iowa time and made it back in 8-1/2 hours! Record time :D Helped that it was so hot, no one really wanted to play that much at lunch time, so it was a quick stop. However, the entertainment for the big girls on the trip?  Lindsay trying to pull out her front tooth! Lauren coached & coached (compliments of previous babysitter Leia I'm sure! :)... "turn it this way, here's a paper towel so you can get a good grip, now twist again" Oh it was painful to listen too :) But they giggled & laughed the whole way... and in the end, she did it.

So here is our toothless Lindsay at almost 5-11months :)
