Water fun-day #10 ~ part 2

Chris arrived after lunch when Lydia & LeaAnn were napping. I heard Blue bark first, I looked at Lauren and said, "guess who's here?!" She immediately lit up, said, "Dad!" and started running. Lindsay followed suit by doing the exact same thing.  Then Elle & Carson both looked at each other and said, "Chris!" and took off running. It was really cute.

30-minutes later, LeaAnn woke up, Chris went to get her, and she was all smiles coming up from the basement. Patting Chris and saying, "ah-Da! ah-Da!" But the topper was Lydia. She was still snoozing away. We were anxious to go swimming & Chris to see Lydia, so we let LeaAnn in her room to wake her up. LeaAnn could not have been happier ;)

Chris rubbed her back and said, "hey Smallsy." She instantly reached up, threw her hands around his neck, gave him the biggest hug and said, "I miss you."
Chris was trying to pull her away and said, "let me give you a kiss" b/c she wasn't letting go. She sat back, looked at me standing in the doorway, crossed her arms like she was giving herself a hug and said, "He missed me!" (tears please)  Oh it was just the sweetest moment ever.

We re-grouped, Mimi took the older 4 down to Ruby's and then we headed down... and had a great time! See below ;)

Smallsy (she later told Chris, "I not Smallsy, I big girl!" :D ) graduated to her floaties only...

LeaAnn continued to try and be a 'big-girl' by climbing the slide :)

Sorry babe, it's a no-go... too many big kids on it. Which was later reiterated when Lauren busted her lip, as you will see on-down :(

It was HOT, so these kiddos opted to eat inside.

Hide-n-seek anyone? LeaAnn, once again, not to be left out, walked all the way out there by herself carrying that bucket...

this is how far it was :)

Ice-cream sandwiches! Had these w/Aunt Jill, awesome! Birthday cake ice-cream sandwiches.... oh-so-good.

Here's the lip :( so sad... she had to drink out of a straw for the next two days! But she handled it well, and Mom was happy (Lauren too) to have the reassurance of two nurses that stitches were not needed :)

The little girls did not get on b/c it was too noisy :) but everyone else had fun :)

The night was completed w/a game of ghosts-in-the-graveyard & running around silly until they were deliriously tired :) a perfect evening!
