This Mother's Day I said, no presents, just please let me bike/run/swim this Saturday and next :D w/o paying a babysitter ;) The triathlon is Sunday, June 1st, so it's getting to be crunch time, and well, all those activities take time :) So! Maggie & I started out our day on Saturday meeting at 6:30am in Winthrop, drove to Independence, biked from Indee to Manchester (25-miles) which ended up taking 2-hours b/c 1. we didnt' realize it was 25-miles, and 2. b/c I stopped to pump up my tires (couldn't figure out why it was so hard to pedal!!) and it ended up being a stuck break (?!) We went to TNT (local tire shop), glad Maggie thought of that, where they thankfully fixed it for me. We biked straight to the March of Dimes walk where we walk in memory of Luke Kress... here is team Luke's Legacy :)
We walked 3.1 miles for the march, biked to Maggie's grandma's house, ran 3-miles, drove back to Winthrop, picked up my van, dropped off the bikes, drove to Indee and swam 1/2-mile at the Wellness center... I came home and crashed :) but we did it! And will do it again (a little less spread out) next Saturday. Made our family a strawberry-rhubarb pie and enjoyed every bite! ;)

Lauren came down sick on Saturday night with a fever :( I took 2, 3, and 4 with me to church, and then Chris took them to Jim & Jeanette's. Lauren & I stayed home, which actually worked out just fine... I got to work on this blog :) which has taken HOURS to catch up :) and then when the rain quit, we went outside and played catch.
Oh yes! And we ate some more pie :) AND Lauren pulled out 2 more of her teeth! And I'm not talking pulled out super loose ones... I mean she yanked them out... I don't know how she does it!
I had a wonderful mother's day and feel so blessed... there really are no words to describe it... love you girls! and King Dad too ;)
