Kings Island day! As always, still the day that the kids CAN NOT wait for all year... literally :)
And it was LeaAnn's first time here :)
She was pretty pumped to be a big kid this year...
And a big kid she was.. the whole day! No naps for anyone, and we made it until 7 or 7:30 that night!
But you know...for the cost of this mini one-day vaca... might as well make it worth the money. Hopefully next year, Chris can be with us, and we can stay until fireworks :)
Oh yes, and pack a lunch or dinner...
However, LeaAnn really had no idea what an amusement park was (still doesn't) or grasp the magnitude of it, and why we wouldn't want to spend our whole day at the water park :) but she never quit asking :)))

We at this point split up... and we took the kids on the 'American Flyer' ride... still a favorite of mine. It was Dad's favorite too at Americana ;)
And they really did do a good job w/o the big kids, but like with most things, b/c they have been exposed to what being a 'big kid' is... they would prefer to be one, and prefer to be with them ;)

We watched the big kids go down White Water Canyon, and we soaked them with our $.25 ;)

And then finally(!) (says LeaAnn) we got on the train to go to the water park :) Carson had to go home for soccer practice, so Ashley left Elle with us.
The wave pool... Was very sweet of the big girls. They put on life jackets with the littles and they went all the way up to the front where the waves start :)

And this one of the 3 girls... A really fun day. Long, hot & exhausting, but super fun and really hopeful Chris can be with us next year :)
