I forgot to mention that it snowed on Christmas Eve... making Christmas Day look just perfect with a new blanket of white snow! On Saturday, 12/26, we drove over to Jody & Brent's for the Beyer Christmas. (they had way more snow than we got!)
The original plan was to spend the night, drive home Sunday and meet Mimi & Pap on Monday for the girls to go to Ohio... but there was another storm in the works for Monday... so if the girls were to go early, Sunday was the day to drive. So! We made the last minute decision (and it wasn't without tears) to leave the Larson's early and come home Saturday night.
We still managed to have a great time! It's also the twins' birthday on the 26th and Jill was running solo... so really glad we could make it and have this celebration! And as you can see, Jody & Brent have the perfect house for it!!
We had an amazing feast!
And the kids had a blast playing in the really wet snow!!
