The plan was this summer to have a day where it was just me & the big girls, hopefully once/week. And this week it DID work out and we had an awesome day! Drove to Cedar Falls to have a DVD player installed, roamed around the mall for bit, had lunch at Applebees & then headed to The Falls waterpark! I did not bring my camera, but lucky for me, Lauren had her's in her purse (?!) I have no idea who's daughter she is ;)
It was the first time ever, where I was able to watch, enjoy (take pictures) and they were both tall enough to go down the slides & touch/swim in the water. It was amazing... and a very special day. Actually, if my friend from work had not come to see us, I don't know what I would've done! Not very 'in-practice' of relaxing ;) no book or magazine... but really, lucky for me, Julie showed up & we watched the girls and chatted the whole time, so nice.
Oh, and it's worth mentioning that I would have gotten in the water with them, had it gotten over 70-degrees outside!!! Plus there was a cool breeze... I have no idea how they managed, but they did :)
