A visit to see Lindsay

Monday, June 25, 2012
We actually drove 3-1/2 hours north to visit Lindsay J Bowen on Sunday, but all these pictures are from Monday. Was special to visit with Lindsay & Kevin, see their animals, and their new place! Cool house with grand barns... I can't wait to go back next year and see the progress they've made :)

Here we are in the morning visiting the animals that are on the 'compound' (as she calls it) that they live on now. Lindsay looks like a natural if you ask me! Going to have to re-attempt my talk w/Chris about getting goats :)

LeaAnn stole the show with the animals... she squealed & screamed :) and climbed gates...

or tried to ;)

Lydia was insistent she wanted to 'feed' them.

This little boy Cooper is only 2 weeks younger than LeaAnn! Sizing each up ;)

Should have been video-taping ...

'Come back!'

More attempts at climbing :) She did this all herself.

So did Lydia of course.

And the pigs! She was talking to them, let me tell you ;)

how cute is this?!?

'Here piggy-piggy'

Lydia not so sure...

Oop! They got her fingers :)

Ended with Kevin & Lindsay's heifers... and of course the girls found the most friendly girl... appropriately named with an 'L' ~ Lana :)

She loved the attention so much & gave kisses too!

Here is Lindsay running away..

Back for more... they are pretty irresistible :)

Lauren coming in for some 'Lana attention'

All the fans were running and it was too loud for Lydia to come in, so Lindsay Bowen was kind enough to shut them off  :)

"Hi Cow!"

I adore this picture... wish I knew what she was thinking!

This is where Lindsay lives now... this is a heated, in-ground pool! L1-3 could not get enough of it :)

Isn't this a cool 'big-kid' blow-up toy? It's a teeter-totter!

'cousin-IT' pose :)

We are golden now! Lydia will 'toodle' all over the pool by herself this way!

Leave at 5pm, arrive at Mimi & Pap's at 8:30pm and go fishing!  Wasn't expecting that :) But it was perfect... not too hot, sun was setting, and the fish were jumping out of the water at the hook!

These are some huge blue-gill!  Perfect ending to a perfect day :D
