New this year, we started our journey playing 'summer-ball.' We've heard all the horror stories... all of them, I swear. But when your kids really want to try something, it's hard to not let them :) Lucky for us, Quasky let Pre-K join b/c there were so many girls, and Lindsay started playing too. Long-story short, the girls love it, and are surprisingly doing really well for their first time ever trying to throw & catch with a glove and hit from a tee. Though we've had a tee for many years, it was not something we got out frequently. Both are bummed that they will miss the tournament due to our Ohio travel plans and are excited to go to their games. And though it's been tough to make it work dragging the little 2 along, they have adapted for the most part and 'hang' fairly well... except the last game where LeaAnn really wanted to be a part of the team and kept waddling into the field.

Really proud of the girls, and so far Chris & I are enjoying 'summer-ball." Though there will be a time, in 4 more years, that we would be at the diamond for all 3 games (t-ball, coach-pitch & softball) if all the girls decide they would like to play. We'll see how much we like it then ;)
