Adding to the mass chaos of December, Chris had to leave at 4am this Monday morning (and again the following Monday), to return on Wednesday night, and the girls' winter concert was also on this Monday. **Side note, he did refrain from hunting this year as it was 'too much'... and it truly would have been. So thank you dear King Dad for your decision :)
There was a meeting scheduled for 5:00pm at the high school, that I really needed to be at. I told the vice principal that if I were to be there, I'd need to leave school early, grab my kids, get them ready, and leave the meeting by 5:30/5:40 in order to feed them and get them to the concert by 6:50pm. :) And viola, we made it happen!
Came home early, and this was our end result! Curly hair & matching dresses... I was speechless. :) Lauren 9-7mo, Lindsay 8-3mo, LeaAnn 3-9mo & Lydia 5
Love, love, love!! The story behind the dresses... I found them at Kohls', showed them to Jody & Jill when we were shopping and said, "Oh I always wanted to the girls to wear Santa-baby dresses..." I said I thought the older two would not like them anymore, so I quick decided that I had not bought the little two Christmas dresses (b/c they've been wearing 1&2 hand-me-downs) and brought them home. When I pulled them out of the bag, the little two squealed and the big girls said, "I wish we could have dresses like that!" What?! Done. Hopped on-line, found their sizes, and here we are.
Ran upstairs in the attic and found their dress coats...
And we walked into Indee high school like movie stars... ha! (Line from Fancy Nancy ;) They played in my room no problems all by themselves, I attended my meeting, (glad I was there) and then we headed out to Del Rio (mexican restaurant in town, Mom's choice ;) And by the time we left, they all loved it and want to go back! :D Everyone oohh'd and ahhh'd over them... I can't blame the people who commented... I would have too. Quite the statement they made! So good at dinner, we had a really enjoyable time.
Arrived at EB, found my 'extended' family :) Wilgenbusch's, Peck's, Hogan's, Moroney's and sat down...
Takes a village, right? I was able to leave Lydia & LeaAnn in the bleachers so I could walk up front to tape... Lindsay 2nd grade.
Lauren 4th grade... only one more year for the elementary concert :(
What a busy & fun night! I felt and still feel so blessed to have such wonderful girls... all of them.

Wears Me out reading your agendas! Am Very proud of you ALL. And Very thankful for your extended family.
