Took Monday after the Beyer Christmas to pack and get ready for our trip to Ohio... On Tuesday we were on the road by 7:14am and 8-hrs & 45-minutes later... we were there! No problems! Lydia wanted to make sure that we did not forget to pack her Elsa Spot It ;)
Waited for Donnie & Ashley to arrive, and we were onto presents!
So big...
After stockings, the first presents opened were pillows from Elle!
She picked out the fabric and sewed them herself!
So very sweet of her ;)
And just so you know Elle, all the girls sleep with them :)
Lydia & LeaAnn...
Their very own suitcases!
And RUBY!!! Next to Pococnut... this is her favorite :)
Lindsay was just a little bit excited about her Solar System :)
Lydia is still excited about her suitcase :)
Lauren got new boots!
Elle a shirt
books for all the girls...
It was a super fun & special evening... THANK YOU Mimi, you did an awesome job with all of the presents :)
I had a huge miss, I did not video the little girls opening their presents from Don & Ashley... the puppy dogs that have puppies in them, LeaAnn was over-the-moon ecstatic ;) It was so cute...
On New Years Day we went bowling in Middletown...
Donnie, the professional bowler... no kidding!
They had these fun 'guide' things that made the bowling experience go really fast, and the girls loved them ;)
Look at this pro! Following in his Dad's footsteps none the less ;)
Um... we were hoping ;)
Photo bomber, Aunt Lori!
Aunt Julie & London showed up too!
Ha, ha! I beat Donnie!!! Had to capture the moment ;)
So I therefore had to take a picture of the 2nd game too ... I was close ;)
That night the Buckeyes won the National Championship and I went to Mendi & Brian's to watch a little bit of it... and Brian was on a mission with the grill... these. were. amazing.
The next morning we woke up, looked at the forecast again, and decided that we could stay another day - whoo-hoo! Kids were beyond ecstatic :)
They made up dance performances on the porch...
It was adorable :)
They continued to eat Mimi & Pap out of house & home... all the nuts included :)
We had a wonderful visit, great weather, very relaxing... it's hard to leave. But we did... we were on the road by 7:30 Iowa time Saturday... and it did rain the whole way, but somehow we still made really good time, 8-hrs & 45-minutes again, and we stopped 3-times!
Here are the girls when we stopped at Subway... took to send to Mimi & Dad
Not sure who was more excited, King Dad or the girls ;) Not that he looks it here... but he was ;)
A night of Rumicube... and the littles painted and 'crafted'
Lookin' good LeaAnn!
The artist...
Strategizing...
Love, love :) (this is Lydia taking pics btw)
Great ending to a wonderful winter break!
